Being 12, 8, and 7, they deserved mattresses of their own. I went looking on several websites and locally for twin mattresses that weren't bargain basement but also weren't really expensive. I didn't have much luck.
"TO THE AMAZON!" <trumpet fanfare> I cried. Sure enough, I found these 8" foam mattresses. I've slept on similar before, and while I don't don't like them that much (but to pain issues that I have) I though that the combination of price, resiliency, 10 year warranty, and ease of shipping would be great for them. Sure enough, for 11.00 total I got three mattresses delivered to my house. (try to get that locally without spending an arm and a leg)
They mattresses came double boxed, and the inner packing box has a handle and wheels- in about 2 days. The mattresses themselves are double bagged and rolled into a box that is about 14x14 all... Read more

It folds up small again (with the help of compression straps - not included but useful). Our guests have told us it is very comfortable. The only downside was the overwhelming smell when we first unpacked it. The smell took over our whole house and made us sick! After a few hours we put it on the front porch and left it outside for 2 days. After that it was fine.
